Start your day in Paducah with a fresh cup of coffee and a hearty breakfast at one of the city's beloved local spots like Etcetera Coffehouse, Gold Rush Café, or Piper’s Coffee and Tea.

 

Then head off to visit Purple Toad Winery, the largest winery in Kentucky, located just a short drive from downtown Paducah. Enjoy a wine tasting and take in the beautiful vineyard views.

From there take a short drive to Marshall County. For lunch, savor Southern comfort food or ethnic dishes at local favorites like Popi’s or Los Portales. Then follow up with a visit to Poca Terra Winery, where you can continue exploring the region’s unique wines and relax in their scenic vineyard setting.

Next is a stop at Fancy Farm Vineyard & Winery, check their Facebook page for any events or activities happening during your stay. You will not want to miss their live music. Satisfy your appetite with a stop at one of the four renowned BBQ spots on the West Kentucky BBQ Belt:
A&B BBQ, Carr’s Barn, Hoskins BBQ, or Southern Red’s BBQ.

Then finish up your day at Buckhorn Creek Vineyard and a stay at any of the Kentucky Lake options.

Enjoy a peaceful morning fishing or take a boat ride to experience the vast beauty of the lake. Then head on down to Hopkinsville, Ky.

Stop for breakfast treats at Baked Hopkinsville then join the Kentucky Capitals Quest with a guided tour of a local batter factory. Here you'll learn about the production process and the history of batter manufacturing and knock off a stop along another trail in Western Kentucky. For lunch, you can also check off a stop on the West Kentucky BBQ Belt with a visit to Big Mike’s, The Wood Shed, or Bar-B-Que Shack.

Afterward, indulge in an afternoon wine tasting at Naimoli Estate Vineyard & Winery. Be sure to call ahead and book a private reservation to experience wines in a peaceful, intimate setting.

Next, drive over to Carriage House Vineyards, the first winery in Logan County since prohibition. Sample their locally crafted wines and take a stroll through their picturesque vineyard.

End your day with dinner at another stop on the West Kentucky BBQ Belt by visiting Roy’s BBQ. Or if you're in the mood for something different, try a signature hoagie from The Hoagie House or enjoy a taste of Italy with dishes from Ariella’s or Sylfoni’s Pizza. Then settle in for the night at one of Logan County’s relaxing accommodations. 

DAY THREE

Start your day in Bowling Green with breakfast at Corner Bakery. Once you’ve fueled up, check into your AirBnB at Traveler’s Cellar Winery. Take some time to explore the beautiful property, soaking in the serene environment before heading out for the day.

Next stop is the National Corvette Museum where you can explore the history of America’s sports car and even take a lap around their track. Visit the Aviation Heritage Park & Museum, which encapsulates the spirit of American air travel or take an underground boat tour through the natural beauty hidden right beneath the surface at Lost River Cave.

​

Afterward make your way over to Reid’s Livery Winery for a wine tasting experience featuring their award-winning selections. While you're there, don’t miss the chance to say hello to the animals on the farm or take a horse riding lesson.

​

Enjoy amazing cuisine and shopping in Bowling Green's lively downtown district, with local shops, eateries like Gerard’s and The Bistro or head to Chaney’s Dairy Barn for homemade ice cream.

​

Now you can take a scenic drive through the rolling hills over to Bluegrass Vineyard. Here you can sample traditional, fruit and specialty wines.

​

Then as your day winds down, head back to Traveler’s Cellar Winery to relax and enjoy the peaceful vineyard views, perhaps with a final glass of wine to end your day in Bowling Green.
