Smiths Grove, KY is home to Bluegrass Vineyard which stands proudly as a woman-owned winery under the ownership of Jessica Rogers. Sitting among the rolling hills, the vineyard offers stunning views and beautiful terrain. With over 30 wines, Bluegrass Vineyard caters to varied palates with options ranging from sweet to dry, encompassing traditional styles, fruit and specialty wines.

You’ll find Buckhorn Creek Vineyard situated just a few hundred feet from the northwest shores of Kentucky Lake. This area is a hub for tourism, with marinas, campgrounds, hotels and local attractions. The vineyard has been cultivating a variety of dry and semi-sweet reds and whites since 2015. Visitors are warmly invited to join tastings, which can currently accommodate up to 25 guests (reservations are recommended).

Carriage House Vineyards Back in 2013, Don and Lisa Davis decided to open a small farm winery in the heart of Auburn, KY. They brought to life Carriage House Vineyards, the first winery in Logan County since prohibition. With 3 acres of vineyards and 8 grape varieties, they’ve got quite the selection—from dry to sweet, including whites, rosés, reds and even a fun wine slushy. Tom Curtsinger is a fourth-generation landowner, who runs Fancy Farm Vineyard & Winery, along with his partner Robbie Felker and his sons. Tom has successfully grown seven grape varieties across six acres of land - proving that European grape varieties can indeed thrive in this region. Naimoli Estate’s founders, Dr. and Mrs. Wayne Naimoli moved to Hopkinsville in the early 90s to practice medicine. Inspired by Dr. Naimoli’s Italian heritage and upbringing in New York, the couple envisioned bringing a taste of Italy to Western Kentucky. As wine aficionados, they noticed a gap in the local wine scene and sought to fill it with premium wines. Today, their estate offers tours and special event venues surrounded by lush vineyards, inviting visitors to explore and savor fine wines onsite.
